Abstract

|
There are many reports on the various methods of treatment for hallux valgus. 1st metatarsal proximal osteotomy with distal soft tissue procedure or 1st metatarsophalangeal joint arthrodisis has been conventionally used for treatment of severe hallus valgus. We performed a new double chevron osteotomy in 3 cases and obtained satisfying results. We present this procedure as a new method of treatment for severe hallux valgus.
